Putting your trust in God will be easier on days when life is going well, but on the days when things aren’t going so well, it will be more challenging. If you are facing something really tragic or painful, it will also be difficult, but we should remember that God never tells us to do something without giving us the ability to do it as we trust in Him.

We can trust God, day by day. Even if you have days when you must say one thousand times, “I will put my trust in God,” it is worth doing. Not only does it honor God, but it lifts burdens off us that we were neither equipped nor meant to carry. When we decide to trust God, we’re making a total commitment to trust Him no matter how hard it is to do. We give Him the honor of trusting that He is in control, and He knows what is best for our lives.
